Practice
Enough thinking.
Small doses. Real life. No performance required.
Microdosing shame
The victory isn't the absence of shame. It's movement while shame is present. You felt the cringe and stayed.
Do something embarrassing privately. Nobody sees it. You still feel it. That counts.
Let yourself be silly. Voices, faces, the stupid dance in the kitchen.
Express something without editing it. Send it as it came out the first time.
Let another person see you being imperfect. Bad singing, wrong opinion, unflattering photo.
Create publicly without checking the response. Post it. Then put the phone down for an hour.
Say what you actually think. Out loud, in the room where it's slightly inconvenient.
Do it because you want to, even if someone might judge it. The want is the reason. That's enough.
Become comfortable being perceived. Not invisible, not performing. Just here, being seen.
